Flos logo Flos Lighting was founded in 1962. That very same year Flos Lighting began producing a number of lamps that were to become classics in Italian design. The first Flos lamps, undoubtedly some of the best known products in industrial design, were called Arco, Relemme, Toio and Taccia. These lamp designs were all created by Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni. From the very beginning, the distinguishing feature of Flos Lighting has always been the high quality approach to lamp design and production. Flos Lighting designs have previously won awards and historical-critical accolades, and are featured in some of the most prestigious collections and design museums around the world.
