How To Install Track Lighting Kits

Track lighting kits offer everything you need for a complete track lighting installation. Coming in a wide range of styles and functionality, these packs include highly versatile track heads in both line voltage and low voltage options. They are convenient and ideal for a multitude of applications, sure to illuminate any space where display light is required, such as work areas in the kitchen, a reading area in the living room, or highlighting artwork on the walls.

Note: the track kit in the images is made by Nora Lighting, but most kits come with the same components and are installed in a similar fashion.

Track Screw Hole

Installation Instructions:

Step 1: Connect Black Wire (Hot Wire) to Copper Screw

Step 2: Connect White Wire (Neutral Wire) to Silver Screw

Step 3: Connect Power Connector to Track Section

Step 4: Connect power source by inserting connector into track and twisting to lock into place

Step 5: Power Connector securely in place

Step 6: Remove Floating Canopy mounting screw

Step 7: To attach track slide down outer sleeve and insert track head into track. Twist track into track section to secure into place

Step 8: Attach Floating Canopy and replace screw to secure into place

Step 9: Insert track head and twist into place. To remove track section slide down sleeve twist and remove
