Conference Room Lighting – LED vs Incandescent

LED lights are ideal not only in commercial buildings but also in areas like conference rooms.  In a given example, a conference room was given a 100% LED lighting upgrade to compare the efficiency of LED lights and incandescent lights.  The 75W incandescent downlights were replaced with 23W LED retrofit modules, and the LED lights were able to provide the same light levels as the incandescent lights while using substantially less energy.

The incandescent lights performed poorly compared to the LED Vetro Pendants in regards to decorative lighting as well.  The incandescent lights were not able to provide pre-set lighting scenes or integrated control capabilities; whereas, the LED Vetro Pendants provided the versatility and high light levels while consuming 75% less energy compared to incandescent lights.
