Since 1974, Hubbardton Forge has stayed true to its roots of creating timeless hand-forged lighting designs. The beauty behind each Hubbardton Forge fixture celebrates the ancient artistry of hand-crafted metal sculpting. Staying faithful to their humble roots, Hubbardton Forge is one of the most well respected brands in the lighting design industry—recognized for their simplicity and integrity.

Hubbardton Forge is continually re-exploring the craft of iron sculpting. Their lighting designs are simple, and organic. Encompassing a contemporary and modern feel, each fixture can be a bold statement to its environment, or transition seamlessly into a timeless piece.

Aside from quality hand-crafted designs, social responsibility and environmental protection are also a core value of Hubbardton Forge. The company has taken several efforts to display their affections toward Mother Nature. They are one of the first companies in the state of Vermont to use powder coating to eliminate hazardous waste and health issues associated with liquid finishes, use Aqueous metal cleaning (recyclable, environmentally friendly water-based part cleaning process), and utilize bioremediation (microbes) to eat the soils and oils out of the wash solution. From these actions, Hubbardton Forge has been honored with the “Vermont Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence in Pollution Prevention”.

Today, the company is the oldest and largest commercial forge in the country with a team of over 200 members. Each design and manufactured piece is hand-sculpted in Castleton, Vermont, delivering a piece of Vermont artistry to every customer.
