Introducing: Tom Dixon

Tom Dixon is a self-taught designer, recognized globally for his creative work in furniture, and interior and architectural design. In 2002, Tom established the brand ‘Tom Dixon‘ in partnership with David Begg.

Tom Dixon is a British product design brand with a commitment to innovation. Inspired by the unique British heritage, the brand’s mission is to revive the British furniture industry by producing extraordinary objects for everyday use.

In conjunction with product design, Tom Dixon extended its expertise in design with the creation of Design Research Studio. This division was established in 2003 with a focus on high-profile contract projects—hotels, retail stores, restaurants, and corporate headquarters.

The company opened its New York office and distribution center in 2006, taking hold of the American audience, and kick starting its ambition of global recognition. In 2014, the brand furthered their reach to international customers by investing in their online website. This not only allowed Tom Dixon to sell and ship their products internationally at a simple click of a button, it enabled an extension of its brand experience worldwide.

The internationally recognized brand has partnered with diverse groups of leading global brands, further emphasizing its dedication to innovation. Brands Tom Dixon has collaborated with include, but are not limited to: Blackberry, Audi, Bombay Sapphire, Adidas, Hennessy, and Lacoste.
